Hey all, I am wanting to upgrade my fuel dilivery system. I have read a few posts and have decided to go with a holley blue as a pusher pump through my currently working stock lift pump. My question is can I upgrade my banjo fittings with regular brass plumbing fittings from home depot? I will buy about 15 ft of 1/2" fuel line to use also.

 

why do you need to uprade your lines? im pushing over 500 hp on my stock lines and a holley blue

 

Okay, so just cut the line by the tank and attach the holley blue to the frame? Do I need the bigger banjo fittings/brass fittings?

 

Lines and high flow fittings help keep the fuel pressure from dropping as quickly. Some people have even drilled out the stock banjos. Less restriction and more volume are good, but like BD said you might not need them if you're running dual pumps.

 

i just cut the line by the tank and installed the blue. Grounded it under the bolt that held it on and ran the hot up to the fuse box
