fuel pressure line

I've been doing some research on this site. For my fuel pressure gauge I want to use something sturdy that won't kink or leak. I have read a few posts about hydraulic hose. Is there something better? If I use hydraulic how long should I make the hose, and what fittings on both ends should I use. I have decided to use the same setup as Moose10's pics without isolator but with a needle valve. I will order Diprocal fuel, boost, and pyro. Any suggestions on a place with a good price tag.

Make sure if you use hydraulic hose its rated for diesel fuel! Not all hose is. My line was 5' but the gauge is mounted by the ashtray so for a pillar install you may need a bit more? The fittings will depend on what you have on the back of the gauge and your needle valve. The pic you show has a hose clamp on a push on fitting

I used Wildcat Diesel's hose that came with the FP gauge kit. It's 7' of braided stainless teflon hose. The hose should be available from any large truck supply store. You'll need to know the fitting size on the gauge and point you're tapping into the fuel system.
