fuel plate and pyro

Well, I went to TST products for directions on fuel plate and couldn't read a [*EDIT*] thing, so please let me know how to slide the fuel plate and the optimum pyro sender location. good prices on a good pyro, boost, and pillar would also be appreciated.

The pyro needs to go in the exhaust manifold just before the turbo. The pyro prices you just need to look around for the best price. Sliding the plate just requires removing the afc housing on top of your pump just 4 screws.

Will sliding the stock plate create excessivly high EGT's? I pull 8 or 9k pounds once a week and dont want to screw that up.

I really don't know about the stock plate being moved fwd, but I would just call TST and ask to talk to mark. When I started bombing I called mark and ordered a #6 plate just to be safe. The kit had the plate, boost elbow, screws and a video for I think 235.00, Worth every penny and just took 3 days to get here. The video goes step by step "a no brainer" then once you do more upgrades you can call mark and trade your plate for another plate for 50.00

JUST MY 02.

Towing with the stock plate forward can create very high egts.
Play it safe with a pyro first.

Definately AGREE! Get that pyro in there before you slide the plate!

I'm not one so keen on package deals, I want to know what each part costs. I like these gauges, they sell autometer there to. I wouldn't go around trying to find the cheapest pyro sender you can as a cheap one may be very slow to react rendering it useless. I like gunracer's fuel plate but that is up to you if you want to grind your own from the stocker. In any case get the EGT gauge setup before doing any modifying.
