Flex plate

What are the advantages to billet over steel? I was looking at the piers one because it is cheaper. Anyone have any advice?

It's stronger and I believe it's also SFI approved for drag racing. If it's cheaper then by all means get it.

Reactor's billet flexplates are beautiful. We put one in an '01 this weekend and it was lighter than the stocker that shattered. Keep in mind that the torque convertor may need to be built with a billet flexplate in mind since they are slightly thicker than stock. Since then I've ordered one for my truck too since it's SFI approved.
