broke flex plate?

broke flex plate?
Thanks for the help with my previous "?"s, but I have another one. Has anyone had a flex plate break? And if you have what were the noises/symptoms encountered? My truck has a knock, if you will, that seems to be coming from the T/C, flex plate maybe the pump not sure. Tightened the T/C bolts and 50% of the noise went away. Any thoughts as to what else it might be?
