Finally decided! FASS, Air Dog or RASP.
After reading just about every thread there is on this subject, I finally made FASS the final choice.
Reason??? Manily,,, price. Very close to Air Dog in function, many members are running FASS units with no bad experiences that I can find and a fella that I've come to rely on as a reliable source for quality products carry's and recomends them. ( Don't know if it's allowed to plug a vendor or I'd memtion his name. ) I definitely would have gone with the RASP due to it's mechanical operation but the price including the plumbing and installation costs is just too high!
So the FASS order will be placed later today. Thanks to everyone who contributed to all of the informative, and some times heated discussions regarding these fueling options!!!

I order an air dog today. The two things that sold me on it were it doesn't hang below the frame and I dont have to shut down to refuel. We'll see how I like it. I cant comment on the other two as I've never owned them. In my mind they all do the same thing. It's just the little differances that a person will choose one way or the other.
In my oppinion you have made a wise move, not in just your choice of product but by supporting a local vendor. Its been my experience your local vender is more likely to back a product for a reg customer and do what it takes to keep you as a customer. I also looked at the RASP but needed to replace my LP at the time and didnt want to pay for the RASP and a new LP.

How does the AirDog handle this?

I had a FASS on my '99 for (the last) six months. Worked well, keeping the pressure up around 13 +/- 1. Even though they advertised that it removed all the entrained air, I was still getting air due to a bad pick-up tube (see my member photos). However, I liked the idea of being able to get replacement filters through local sources.
Like 95ram, I just ordered the AirDog for my 2000. rmrc chose the FASS based on price, I chose the AirDog based on years in business and was willing to pay an extra $100 for piece of mind. It's too bad about the family fued behind the two companies. I just get an uneasy feeling about how the litigation is going to turn out. We don't have any retailers in MN who carry either product, so I ordered straight through the manufacturer. The only thing I don't like about the AirDog is having to order the replacement filters instead of picking them up locally.
joefarmer, in talking to Kenny at Ekstam Worldwide, the AirDog also plumbs into the overflow tube (same as FASS). As such, you would still have the potential of causing problems if you have the engine running while trying to fuel. I'm going to order the "stand pipe" kit from ADT to make sure I don't get another pick-up tube air leak. I'll get an extra bulk-head fitting and connect the AirDog's return into the top of the tank. After fighting with the '99 for several months, I'm going to cure this one immediately.
