FASS vs RASP

I wanted to get yalls views on both the FASS and the RASP. I desprately need to do something. Whats the best web site to get a Vulcan big line kit? Does anyone have pictures of the big line set up? Would relocating the stock LP to the frame rail at the fuel tank work better until I can afford the FASS or should I just leave it where it is? Thanks for the help in advance.

Eric

I bought my Vulcan kit off ebay. I wanted the Rasp system, but had a failing VP44 and needed an quick upgrade so I went cheap. Jeg's sells a Bullydog system using a holley pump thats simular to the Vulcan.

Rasp is a mechanical pump and is in a league of its own, almost. Don is selling cams to run a cummins mechanical pump, but its pretty labor intensive getting the cam in.

IMHO if you're going to spend the money on a Fass, might as well go far the Rasp. I think Rasp is an often overlooked option.

I have a RASP and cant say enough good about it. FP is always good. Not really much to go wrong with it since it is mechanical and it is plumbed in parallel with the stock system for an automatic backup system. Retains the stock fuel filter and heater. Cant say much about the fass as I have not used one but many seem to be happy with them.

Barry,
Did you have to trim the fan blades any to clear the RASP? I heard this might be an issue, but have no confirmation on the matter.

No didnt have to trim anything. I heard something along the same lines but I think it only applied to the third gens.
