some tracion bars-got new heavier/longer U-bolts made for the rear end to install the plate
a home brew pulling hitch, should work for the pulls around here

Hitch looks good,but i would add a little more meat to it on the rear to be safe, all of the force will be in that partof the hitch. just looks a a little thin and would hate to see you do a nice full boost launch off the sled.

i've been looking at it and this stuff is pretty dang thick. but if i can find a way to add more strength without losing the function of the hole for the sled hook, ill do it

Yup, i hear ya, all i was saying was to take a small piece of what you have for the hole , and add it to the rear section of the hole on top or bottom, thats what looked like to be the weekest link, but maybe not it could be fine, you just never know.

because they are built heavy duty and the price was right. ill attach them at the length they are made and deal with it. im not trying to tune the rear suspension for a drag launch, i wanna just keep it from breaking when stressed with a 40k sled behind it
