Hitch looks good, but i would add a little more meat to it on the rear to be safe, all of the force will be in that partof the hitch. just looks a a little thin and would hate to see you do a nice full boost launch off the sled.

i've been looking at it and this stuff is pretty dang thick. but if i can find a way to add more strength without losing the function of the hole for the sled hook, ill do it

Yup, i hear ya, all i was saying was to take a small piece of what you have for the hole , and add it to the rear section of the hole on top or bottom, thats what looked like to be the weekest link, but maybe not it could be fine, you just never know.

I like the traction bars. Did you make them yoursefl? I need some, but I just can't afford the 800 dollar ones.

no a member here made them for me. these are nowhere near $800 but they are tried and true, he uses the same bars on his truck and sled pulls regularly

because they are built heavy duty and the price was right. ill attach them at the length they are made and deal with it. im not trying to tune the rear suspension for a drag launch, i wanna just keep it from breaking when stressed with a 40k sled behind it
