EZ problems

Hey guys I recently added an EZ on my truck a few months back... i had a comp on that worked perfectly but sold it when the VP went out. The EZ's power is sweet to have again but it seems to only be on intermittenly... the best scenario I've had with it is it has the power after the second time i start/drive/warm up the truck for the day... but recently its all stock power. boost goes up to about 26 with the EZ working and wont breech 21 with it off... all connections have dielectric grease in them to keep out any stray water now that its gettin that time of year. any help?? defective EZ?? Send it back? any tricks i'm missing or could use? there's no ground like on the COMP right? thanks

There is no ground like the Comp, the EZ is basically plug and play.

At one time I had a problem with the Datalink or Comlink connection (the one other than the Map connection). I played with that a few minutes and never had a problem in 3 years.

It's possible that it is bad. I know the "newer" ones are not as good or reliable as the "old" versions.

Can you plug it into a buddies truck and see if it does the same thing?

You should have a noticable difference with the EZ, especially with the amount of smoke. They do go bad, but Edge is real good about standing behind their in warranty units.

I'll toy around with the connectors and see if they're loose or something and get back to you guys. If nothing else after i swap to see how it works i'll call edge up or whatever. Is there anything I can put on the connections to get better conductivity possibly?? thanks
