Edge w/Attitude, boost fooler

I'm wanting to add an Edge w/Attitude to my 02 H.O. Will I need a boost fooler in addition to the Edge or will the Edge take care of this. I want the turbo to build 28-30 psi boost. I'm new to the "tuner" world so I'm not exactly sure how they work. I've also read about a "J hook" will I need this or can I disable the waste gate. I have a 12V and run it with the waste gate unhooked at 30-35 PSI. I picked the Edge because I like the gauges built in one unit. Thanks for any advice in advance..

Should do boost fooling on its own.

You should not need a jhook as you have have an HX35. You will need to put a different elbow on the vacuum line or block it some way. I think you should see more like 35psi or maybe a little higher so be careful.

Sounds like you got a boost leak somewhere, I could hit 35 with the Juice w/ Attitude I ran for 6 months.

Did you install the boost elbow with the Juice?

Doesn't sound like he has the box installed.

In that case, 20psi or so is the factory setting. He should have an HX35, so the boost elbow will work.

Boost fooling incorperated with the unit. Auto's are wastegated at 20 psi and have a metal tube to supply the wastegate-I know some people who just piched it shut. Manuals have a rubber hose. The kit comes with a restricted brass elbow to repace the stock one which delays wastegate operation. Manuals are wastegate at higher psi, I'm not positive but somewhere in the 30-35 psi range.
