Hey guys, I got my edge ez today and I'm going to go test it on a friends truck to see if it works. Can someone explain to me where the different settings are and how u change them? A pic would be good too....Thanks

Ok, I need your guy's help. I j ust got home and saw the ez for myself and I am lost. The connector that goes into the map on this ez is a flat 3. My map sensor on my truck is a triangle 3. Also the Data link on my truck is a larger triangle 3(I think or is it the like flat 2 plug right next to it?) and the one on the ez is a larger flat 3. Do I have one that is made for a 2001? I called edge and they told me they don't make an adapeter to make mine fit. Can anyone help? I dont know what to do. Thanks

 

you have the wrong box the parameters are different too

98-00

01-02

 

The EZ you have is for an 01 (02 with adaptor) it won't work on anything pree 01 (different map voltage if i remember).

Here is a suggestion.
You can take it or not.

I have a close friend that hard wired a 2001 EZ like yours into a 99 truck.
It involved tapping into the wire harness.
I dont know exactly which wires he used but, it worked.
You might try matching up the wires.

A vote of confidence for the 2001 EZ on a 99 truck.
Also, I run a 2001 EDGE Drag/cust/Comp box on my 99 truck.
I use the 99 harness and plug the 2001 box into it.
It runs flawless and produces over 500 rwhp with some other little mods.

I know of a guy that has one for a '99 for sale, if you are interested, I know of another guy that has a 2002 and he wants one. Maybe we could work a trade. Let me know ;D
