I work at a full service shop. I replaced an Edge EZ with an Edge with Atitude in a 99 2500. The customer let me keep the EZ. I have a 2002 2500. Can I use the EZ in Mine?

Yes you can. But, your 2002 will need an adaptor from Edge, due to the different electronics and hookup at the MAP sensor. They use to be about $25.00. May have been one in the Juice box?

Good news, We are a EDGE ditributor so it sould be eazy to get. Iv'e installed dozens of them and knew the map connector was different.

You might talk to the Edge guys. Yes, the 2001 EZ can be used on the 2002 with a MAP adapter, but my recollection was that the earlier EZs couldn't because of different MAP sensor outputs.

I was about to say I may be wrong.... remember somthing about that. Rusty may be correct; he usually is.

If so list it in the classified section and then you can buy a newer model.

I figured the that it wouldn't work. It was just wishful thinking when I posted.I was hoping someone knew a way to do it.

Was wondering if anyone knows of a Place that repairs Edge EZ?

Think I got taken on eBay ,, BUT Dont want to stick anyone else with it..
Would like to have it looked at. For an estimate..

I'm sure Edge Performance would look at it....for the right price. Like you, I bought a comp off ebay that was for a 2001. I called Edge Performance asking about connectors, they talked to me but I wasn't willing to send it in....assuming the pocket book impact would not be worth it. I resold it and got another.

But at least give them a call and test out the waters.
