Edge comp safe driving

Well hi everyone I appreciate everyones opinion and help

I have a Cummins 99 with high ram intake and edge comp with two guages pyro and boost.. I was curious as to what setting on the edge comp is safest and most economical for town driving and what setting is best for hauling a goosneck with about 12 tons of hay...I have a stock clutch brand new and good. I would like to keep it that way if you know what i MEAN

If it's a brand new STOCK clutch I wouldn't run the comp over #2 to be safe. That would be about the same as a ez but people have tore things up with a ez towing also. I think you should be alright but go any higher than 2.

You really need to get a fuel pressure gauge ASAP! especially running the Comp. Did you tap the IP?
1x1 will probably get you good mileage. I tow with mine on 3x5 and no problems. When i ran 1x5 for a week i got 17.4 mileage and that's with 4.10 gears.

Order your FP gauge from Eric at Vulcan Performance he has the best prices and service around.

Did you tap the injection pump wire when you installed your Comp?

Safest setting for a Comp is "OFF".

For economy, you want power level 1, sublevel 1.

I thought for economy you would want to run atleast sublevel 4 for the advanced timing.

On 1x5 with my new Mach 4s and HTT 62/12 I recently hand calculated 21mpg, cruise was set @70-72 mph, 1x1 feels like it adds nothing.

I thought all the sublevels had the same timing-- the only difference is the amount of low end fueling-- sl5 and sl4 are more aggressive than than stock, 3 is about like stock, 1 and 2 are less fuel than stock (defueling for larger injectors).
