Edge Comp problem

Level 2 and 3 stopped working. It started with level 3 a few days ago, now 2 is gone. 3x3 was a perfect around town level for me. 1 is to soft and I have to baby it on 4 and 5 because my clutch won't hold the power.

Is this is a typical problem?

How long have you had the COMP installed? I've had mine on for about 7 months now and I run on 3X3 and no problems.............

Only a few weeks. I know some people hate the comp because it's given them problems. Just wondering how common my problem is or if other boxes just flat die.

I'll get it fixed. It's going to suck driving around without a box!

Like if you had it turned off and while driving turned it back on in say 3 and couldnt tell any differance.?

Edge has excelent customer service I'd call them right away.

With the box on 2 and 3, it's actually worse than with the box off. It struggles to rev over 2000 rpm. No biggie though, I'm sure Edge will fix it.

Check your wite tap connection and make sure it has a good one. If not the COMP will act strange. I just had this problem and it was the connector I use from the install kit. I now have a bluechip diesel cover on the way. Hope this helps. Also check all coneection and clean them as well. JMO.

i will respectfully disagree with 13FOX and say the wire tap is NOT the problem. without the wire tap you have an EZ, not a truck that doesnt easily rev over 2000rpm.

check the ground connection. but best chance is to call up Edge...
