Question Edge Comp box

Hey guy's. Looks like you talked me into a edge box. Is the comp that much better than the EZ or is it not worth the extra? Where's the best place to get one and how much do they usually run? Thanks guys and I better quit checking these sites cause this could get real EXPENSIVE.

The Comp is worth the extra $$, you will get twice the power + .
Check with Wilcat Diesel or the other venders on this site for prices.

2 reasons why the Comp is better than the EZ

1) alot more power if you pierce the pump wire

2) even if you dont pierce the wire, you still get the in-cab adjustability

(piercing the wire may not be the best idea if your concerned about your warranty or if your tranny is stock)

good luck

The comp IS worth the bucks if you're planning on beefing up the drivetrain.
The auto trans WILL need serious work, the Standard tranny guys will want to find a stronger clutch.
The nice thing about the Comp is you can hook it up and leave the pump wire unattatched until you can save the $$$$ for drivetrain mods, and it will act just like an EZ.
And I'll definately 2nd the recommendation to give Rod at Wildcat Diesel Performance a shout.
Rod IS customer service.
Don't forget to ask him about Baabs.

I got the Drag Comp version, and have not tapped the wire till I get my clutch taken care of.

It's a nice way to stage your upgrades.

Expensive you say?!!? Log off now!!

I just went with the EZ for now, the wire had as much a chance of not getting tapped as a snowball in hell. No wire, no temptation. When I finally need a new clutch I'll put a wire tap box in. Depends on your will power or lack in my case.
