If you're faster AND smokier on the 4th level, I'd say phone Edge. You should be smokier if it is putting out more fuel than 4th. Since its not, I'd think something would be malfunctioning with it.

How much fuel pressure you running? My truck would lay under 5psi of injection pump pressure. You get lots of smoke on 5X5? How fast does the turbo spool-up? The comp box should give her a good kick in the pants after no boost launch, idle to wot run. If she isn't kicking you, your wiring isn't talking to the injection pump. You could also check the other connectors. I had to get a good click to get the injection pump to work.

a slightly weak injection pump will also make you think your edge is bad...trust me i know. mine had electrical problems causing low power, low smoke and some stumbling above 2700rpms. turn the box down to level 3 or lower and it went away.

check your VP44 to be sure its good.

I just sent my comp box and harness back for the same problem, It kept quiting in stage 5. They tested it, and found a bad pin on the connector that plugs into the box so they replaced the connector. It works great now. I also kept getting a bunch of different codes.
