Check all your wiring connections, especially the one on the pump wire.

mine did that just a few weeks ago. first thing check the pump wire, if you have a stealth plate check the connection to the probe, you may have to turn it in a little bit more, but dont turn it to much. also, that didnt fix mine. i ended up shearing off a key way in my pump, causing the timing to be off, that could be it also, i had to get a whole new pump. maybe it could be your map sensor, it could be alot. hope i could help.

Make sure your pump wire and ground are both good. These trucks tend to wiggle things loose.

make sure your tap wire doesn't ground out. mine did a month ago and didn't realize it til i had to change fuses and see smoke come off hte dipstick. a new injection is the result to that. stealth cover and a new pump make it run real well.

it means that it detects a code in the pcm. Must be pulled with a scanner. (dealership, or autozone can do this)

I dont think this would cause your truck to act like this.

With the comp if the box works on the fourth stage why is it worse on the fifth. When I put it on the fourth I have much more smoke, and am faster. If the tap wire or ground wire is off then the forth stage shouldn't work?? Any suggestions??

b/c you've got too much fuel on 5 with your setup...my truck is also quicker on 4 as opposed to 5. 5x5 just bogs the turbo and egts get nasty hot. As far as the comp not working if it is under warranty just send it back to EDGE and see if it is shot. I know I sent back 2 edge Ez's that quit working....Oh and it would help to pull your codes...
