If you have the right adapter and clutch it will work.

why? have you ever drove with one of these? they are not fast, much slower shifting than a sycronized trans.

You could put in a overdrive/underdrive system that would give you ten or twelve gears to jam. I honestly think you need more power. Forget the extra gears, unless you like jamming lots of gears.

You will also need on board air to shift the high low range and the splits

i have looked at a gearvendors unit but would rather try the eaton super13 speed tranny
i know how they shift i have driven one and yas they are much slower than my nv4500 but they are much stronger
i have a air compressor for air bags so i belive i could use that for the tranny

when the truck was dynoed it was a vp44 with a edgecomp on 5x5 and a hx35/40 hybrid turbo with 4psi fuel pressure so i would think i have a little more power

I'd love to have a super 10 in my truck. What adapter and clutch are required to make it work? I think that would be the coolest thing ever. My truck feels kind of insufficient after I drive a big truck. Plus it would keep other people from being able to drive it.

You guys do realize that the 13spd is almost as large as your engine? I've got 5 trucks with 13spds and 1 with a 10 and there is no way it's going to fit under your truck (without a 6" body lift). They're about 33" long and almost 2' wide and weight over 700lbs. They do make 5 and 6spd medium duty transmissions with hydraulic clutch relase options that are a bit more realistic. If you want a heavy duty transmission your gonna need a heavy duty truck (reguardless what your tailgate wants you to believe)

Try looking for a 6610 RTO, Not sure if its eaton or fuller. Its a 10 speed with overdrive for lighter weight big trucks. Its not as heavy or big and doesn't have the twin shafts that the bigger transmissions do. I looked at putting one in a jeep cherokee (the big one) but it would require a divorced transfer to make it work.
