Can't go wrong with a South Bend Clutch. I just installed my Con-OFE today. The stock clutch held no problem with a Smarty on 9 and Mach 1.6s. The old clutch slipped immediately at anything over 25 lbs of boost after I installed the Mach 4s though.

I went with the OFE because I tow a toyhauler and wanted a clutch with decent manners for backing up and also for off roading.

For drag racing, I'd look into a Haisley dual disc. Supposedly, they are the fastest shifting dual discs. I've got two SBC DD's, and while they are good clutches, they just don't shift that fast.

I am definatly leaning towards the haisley. Anybody know what horse power the street drag and the street puller are rated. I am going to give them a call today , hopefully they are open on saturday.

TDX, the would be good to see how the truck runs with the set-up. You planning on going for more power? Tate just put on a silver bullet, its actually not that bad of street manors. I was expecting worse for such a biggie. Very decent middle and top. We have to see Tate P7100 run some big numbers. I'm hoping that someone can build a big VP, but the my right foot is thinking more P7100.

Gotta get a clutch first and do some testing. After that i am sure there is always the need for more. Where is the AFI dyno held. This might be a silly question but i have not heard about it before. Should have a clutch in in the next couple of weeks so i would like to see what she will do. I am going to get some video today hammering on the loud pedal so check in later for the vids.

Its in what I would assume is the SE of the city. East of Calgary Trail, North of the Whitemud a ways. Just punch AFI performance in google, should give you an address. May 23rd, should be fun.

Here is some video. You can hear it slippin as i go by. I cant wait to see what it will do with a clutch. There is such a short window were it does not slip. It just slips to the point where it starts to defuel then it continues to rev until i shift at about 3100 to 3200. Without my comp drag hooked up it definatly has a narrow power band from where the turbo lights to 2750. She is pretty much defueling the whole run

Was the run on kill mode? What kinda of boost you pulling? I could hardly get the BD130 to smoke running a garrett 3782R/BTH-3B combo. I could pull boost in the low 50's.

Comp is on level 1 without the pump wire hooked up. I will get more accurate info (boost, egt) after i get a clutch in.
