difference between phat shaft and silver bullet

What is the difference between the II Phat Shaft and the Silver Bullet turbos.
About the only difference i can tell is the price. I am thinking about buying one or the other, which one should i choose

The SPS's have a 71mm wheel where as the Silver Bullet has a 74mm wheel. Other than that, the S.B. is polished as noted above.

71mm vs 74mm is correct. If you're going to be mildly modifyed with fueling I'd say go with the sp or sps turbo. If you're going to be pushing some fuel, go with the silver series of turbos.

I really want to have my 66 turned into a SB but I dont know how much it will help.

Anybody on here ever when from a standard SPS 6? to a Silver 6?

my phat shaft has seen some pretty decent hp and is livig pretty good so far.

Remember the 71mm vs. 74mm thing people are mentioning with the Phat Shafts and SB's is the turbine wheel.

If you really want a true 71mm compressor turbo get an Aurora 5000 it has the 71mm up front and a 76mm in the rear...

I still want to use the truck for towing so which of the phat shaft series would best suit with out doing damage

62 or 64 I would say. Ive ran the 66 and it was not something I would try to haul heavy stuff with. it surged just as much as an aurora 5k does now
