Question Don't see lift pump under truck, is it intank? need to double check..

I'm kinda new to all of this, and so far the only info I have been able to gather is it depends on if I have an intank pump or not. I am ordering a lift pump, and need to know what draw straw to get. I don't see the pump under the truck right now, so is it intank, or is it gonna be somewhere I can't really see from under truck? I have an 01 Dodge, and is stock. I'd appreciate the help cause I need to order this stuff tonight, thanks!

the lift pump should be to the right of the fuel filter. If there is an aluminum block then you have the retro fit crappy intank pump.

it should be mounted on the engine block, under the fuel filter canister.

Ok, thanks. I saw it there, so I don't have one in the tank? Is that correct? I guess if I don't have one in the tank I need the Draw Straw, not the Draw Straw II. Or do I even need the draw straw with the Walbro lift pump?

that's a good question for the Walbro guy. I'm running the big line kit with the Holley Blue pump through the stock LP.

Ok, I'm pretty sure it is the Draw Straw, not the 2nd one. Thanks.

jordan, if you don't have the intank lp then you wont need any of that draw straw stuff. my lp was in the engine compartment and the warlbro kit replaces all of that stuff. good choice on pumps by the way

Ok, well I guess I can always send it back to them. A little too late now, I might be able to call it in the morning though. Yeah, I was trying to figure out exactly what to do about pumps there were so many(too many) options. Thanks. I bought an edge juice w/attitude for $614 brand new! Check out the deals at alligatorperformance.com!
