I have one. Price sounds average. The plastic isn't real hard, but it's not floppy, either. It was designed to clamp over a pipe, not to have a hose clamped over it, so a short stub of pipe to reinforce the flange is a good idea. PVC works fine for this.

I just picked up my NAPA filter today. MAN that thing is BIG! I curently use a K&N FIPK filter but noticed alot of oil around my silencer ring and inlet for the turbo. Didn't like all the oily fill over everything so I left my silencer ring off and bought a napa filter.
I think that my heat shield that came with the K&N filter will still work, I will find out tomorrow. Just need to order up an outerware for it now.

My NAPA BHAF (part# 2790) had a 3" inlet neck. I switched to Baldwin, was less expensive, and has the 4" inlet neck, so no adaptor needed.

So whats the deal ? Some napas ship a 3" and some a 4" .

The napa here says they can get one for $54.

Do You other guys have 4" necks? ? ?

Hey Dodg301...

Is your Napa 2790 a harder rubber/plastic that will hold up to the clamp ?

Hell,,, I will just go down to napa and get one if its the hot ticket...

Ive NEVER seen a 2790 with a 3 inch inlet you'd think they'd all be the same.

I think all these are the same but some are marine.

Yes the plastic part of it seems to be very hard. Both the solid end and the end with the opening. pretty stout feeling.

Ditto. My NAPA 2790 is 4"-- the stock inlet tube connected right up.

Of course, you have to subtract the flange thickness of the BHAF to get the I.D., so maybe it's less than 4" in true I.D.
