I have a set of Rob Thomas ladder bars. They are not cheap but I dont thnk you would get your monies worth with any of the others. Once you put them on...and feel the difference the ride is and how they work... you wont take them off...Here is the link to the TDR where I posted my results

Jermey,
You are in the Allendale area, right (I'm just north of Lawrenceville)? I just sold and delivered my truck Tuesday, otherwise I would have shown you the setup on mine. Let me know if you want some pics of them. They were a single bar design and used Skyjacker poly bushings at each end. They worked very well and required no welding or drilling of any kind to the frame. Have a good one,
andy

Try the Suspension Connection. They are fairly inexpensive.

Yep! I was thinking of making some with leaf spring eye bushings on the end that will mount on the u-bolt saddle. Then planning to build brackets that come of the frame and using the bushings from a Ford pickup-van 2 wheel drive front suspension, You now the ones at the end of the ladder bars were they mount to the frame. This should give it enough flex not to bust the frame.

So what do you guys think ? Will it work?

Should. I am planning on making some as well. But thinking of flipping the u-bolts. And mounting the shocks in an inverted V. More clearance.

Have to look into heims versus poly bushings though.
