Death Wobble Victims;

I don't know if this is a good, bad or indifferent product. Maybe everyone here already knows about it, but I just found it and thought I'd pass it on.

I've experienced the 'death wobble' first hand, and after replacing the track bar, it's been fine since. Maybe this is a lower cost option.

To bad they wont work with the moog problem solver track bar. I looked into the lukes links and also noticed a couple people saying the aftermarket trackbars are not fitting properly so I cant go factory then add the lukes later. I am going the thoren route because of this.

Moog makes a line of heavy duty replacement parts that are designed to be of better quality than stock. This line is the problem solver series. Pricey but good stuff. When you look at it the size of the componants are usually quit a big larger due to extra metal in the castings. Unfortunatly the trac bar doesnt last to long either. If you drive a 1999 down chevy I really recommend they problem solver idler arm! Especially with the torsion bars cranked up or oversized tires.

I've had it and my old roommate had it. I put the lukes link on and it solved the problem. I've since upgraded to the DT track bar and still haven't had any troubles. I have my luke's link to my roommate and he still experienced it. We played with the caster adjustment a little bit and so far so good. The death wobble is an interesting thing to track down. It can be one of a 100 parts or any combination of them. Who knows. All I know is that it's scary as hell and it's not something I want to experience again.
