Yes, it will work as a boost fooler. No, hooking the data plug and map sensor back up stock on yours won't hurt it.

LO. If your uncomfortable with having the cover on there, then either back out the screw going into the cover, or just tape the connection off so nothing gets in it. Your not gonna hurt it. It's not like it cuts the wire and reroutes it or anything. I need a vacation and I like San Antonio.
