So im putting in my dave g trans and im having trouble with the vba. it says to solder the black wire from the vba to the black wire with brown tracer on the the black plug harness. My problem is that on the black plug there are two black with brown. Please help im almost done

 

wish I could help, but this is exactly the type of thing that made me get his stuff installed. too bad it is so late or you could call him, or another of the instllers on his list....... seems his website is down so you can't even reach out to the west coast where it is only 7 pm....... well at least I give this a bump to the top.... good luck

 

I did a search on this subject. Came up with both the black/tan or black/brown wires are both common grounds. So it should not matter which one you tap into. Here is the link.
