Cylinder head install advice

I'm on the home stretch on installing my new o-ringed head/studs/gasket etc just waiting on a new nut from ARP. I have a concern after reading some posts on here. I didn't think anything of it at the time, but after I bottom tapped the holes I got most of the metal shavings out by running the tap in and out of the holes a bunch of times, but I didn't get all of the oil out of the stud holes. The studs went all of the way down in the holes without any problems and the nuts go up to the top thread on the stud without being torqued. Will this be a problem down the road? If so what would be the best way of cleaning out all of the holes without removing the head, if I need to remove the oil in the holes I'd hope removing the head is the last option after last weekend

Thanks in advance for reading.

No need to get the oil out of the holes.

If you do want to get the oil out of the holes, I would suggest some brake clean/solvent, just something to thin the oil some, and then blow them out with compressed air.

I just took my head off my 24v, and what i did is use a shop vac, with a 3/8 fuel line in the hose, used a rag around it and taped it on, then used brake clean with the little straw and put it in all the way and sprayed in the bolt hole while catching all the crap as it came out with the hose.. worked great! just to be sure i took an awl and scraped the bottom of the holes then sprayed on more time.. i have nothing in mine, waiting on my head to be oringed and resurfaced, pick it up on friday and start my reinstall.. good luck..

I don't think I will, with the head on it seems like too much trouble to go through if it's not needed, I did put a small hose down there and sucked out all of the major oil, so its just some residue inside each hole, so I'll leave it as is and live with it. Thanks for the replies.
