Cruise Control Surge

I thought I read somewhere about a fix for this by putting something in the vacuum line itself but I can't find it anywhere. Thanks for any info.

Red straw thingy from a can of WD-40 or Computer Air, cut in half or more.

I believe you put it in the line at the cruise solonoid, under the drivers side battery.

I need to try this too. My truck surges when the cruise is on as well. Do you just stick it in the end of the line or do you have to glue it in?

Is this a 12 valve thing too or just for the over-valved?
