Anything can be done......I have done alot of eng. transplants and you can too if you have done at least one b4.
I would be prepared to count the cost rael good.....the eng. weighs more (Diferant springs?) diff radiator and lots of misalanous items you will have to make ...also a trany to match the Bell H..............thats shuld get ya thinkin...
I'd say 5000.00 or so for a eng and 3 to 4 for stufffffffff......
T.m.o.\
ps ( a rebuilder (wreck would probly be cheaper).

My girlfriends dad does a lot of Ford/ Cummins trucks. He can do a complete truck, if you supply the truck and motor, labor included for 3-4 grand (I believe).
As long as the truck had a pretty heavy motor in it (454, diesel or something comperable) there is no need to stiffen springs or anything like that. Not sure if your located anywhere near Texas but if youre interested, let me know.

I will be doing this swap this summer when I have more time on my hands. Putting a 12 valver in a 99 crewcab. I have both trucks right now its just a matter of finding the time. Let us know what you find out and any helpful hints that you could share.
