Can you not have enough fuel to run twins?
I was wondering , can you build a set of twins and install them on a truck such as mine, and still spool-up well, at my current fuel level? I was thinking of putting some on, but dont want to if i cant spool them up.
I was thinking of just doing it, and adding the fuel later when i get a new clutch. You know, something to do in the meantime. I just figured i could easily spool my hx-35 now, why not with another one (htb2) behind it? And plus the egts would be great. Thanks in advance -Jake

Go for it. The only problem you'll have might be a little more lag than you care for. It will still work.
It's also worth mentioning that low EGTs can be as damaging as high EGTs. You want to have your peak EGTs around 1250-- not much more, not much less.

Mine spool better than stock I think. I just did alittle work....macthed the manifold to the hx35 16 housing , matche dthe intake plenum etc.....I see 20 psi as the tach goes past 1500 rpm. The boost gauge swings so fast its crazy....all the way to 45 - 50 psi then shift. I run a 16 non waste gated housing and a 26 . I need to slide my 10 plate foward a tad....only seeing 1150 in ft on the freeway. Its past running good....it runs rediculous....a truck should not run like this, hell most cars don t run like this.
Im gonna make a new bumper and put in a second intercooler now, and coole the charge between turbos.

Low EGT's
Curious,
What damage can too low EGT's do? I understand the inefficiency of having a low EGT: pushing a higher ratio ambient air to fuel. But in doing so, what damage is incurred?
