It'll add a lot more more fuel! but without a boost fooler you still will only see 20 lbs. Get a boost fooler and hang on! You should notice a big differance up to 20 lbs.
Are you sure you got the SHO? they cost around $1800!
I called and talked to II today relayed the part number to them and they said yes it was the shovp for there automatic trans. The only thing that that i have done is what listed in my sig so no chip or injectors. They said i should be able to feel the differance and not quite sure why i cant ?? they did offer to send me a another one to exchange for the one currently on the truck ?? Thanks, Jr
Just last month I installed the II SHOVP44/FASS setup on my truck (although mine is a 5-speed and I opted for the 95 gph FASS.) From a dead stop it seems the same as before (maybe only because I don't take off hard with it), but once I get it rolling it flat out runs like a scalded cat. On the highway, doesn't matter if I start out at 55 mph or 70 mph, If I wanna pass somebody I can do it easily because there is so much more top end power than before. One thing you might try is resetting your APPS (look it up in the tech facts section.) That has been known to improve throttle response. I don't know personally; I still have yet to do that to mine.

Do a search for turnbuckle and j-hook so you can get more boost out of that hy turbo. BTW if you had guages you'd see boost and pyro temps and you'd *know* if theres a difference =P
The hot rod pumps add bottom end fueling while giving you the fuel up top that a standard output truck would have already.
If you already have big injectors and a box you will feel less than if you were a truck closer to stock when adding the HRVP44.

I talked to a shop closer to the city and they said that he has had similar phone calls concerning the II shovp ?? His suggestion was to add a box to the truck to get the full power of the new pump.
