Which box?

Well the Time has come, the box,

I know im going comp mode, and, why im at it, get the competition series in whatever i get( gotta have the most ya can)

I guess what im lookin for is the diffrences between the TST Edge and bluechip

How do they fuel? Smooth Ruff, which makes most power,

Is there ar eason no one seems to run the bluechip as often as the tst or edge?

What reacts better with the large injectors?

and, is all this stackable with like a superchip or somethign? I dont really want one but are close priced with actual code reader computer modules you find at auto zone so why not pick up a pony or 2 eh?

If youve owned them all i really wanan hear from you!

The TST and Bluechip boxes are fueling boxes, the Edge Comp is a timing and fueling box and the Edge EZ is mostly a timing box.
I know someone who had the TST box for fuel and Edge EZ for it's timing, large injectors and a set of twins and their truck performed very well.
I’ve had the Superchips and EZ stacked. It did ok nothing to get excited about. I think that setup had too much timing. I like the injectors and EZ for my towing application better.
I think if you go with the TST, EZ and large injectors like the EDM Mach 5s or 6s and a set of twins to keep thing cool you will be very satisfied with your truck. If you don’t want to stack then the Edge Drag Comp will keep you .
Just my $0.02 worth.

This is the fourth time I've viewed this post and I'm still confused. Why the comment?

"well the time has come, the box" sounds reasonable, make it a Comp if you please. better yet. how about some big injectors? yeehah! may not be quite enough so can we stack em up for just a wee bit more? the man sounds very serious to me, and in one fell swoop. took me a year and a half to decide on an EZ. it was intended as a total compliment i assure you. i certainly hope i haven't offended anyone in any way.

Yeah, doesnt sound like a compliment to me haha. Maybe some people just know what they want. And thats me. Reason for the post is one, No one seems to be running bluechip. 2nd I remember reading places that the Ex fuels slower than the TST, the TST is more agressive and that reallys hows in the competiition box. Why not go for injectors? Im a College student workin on his toy and his school so I think well injectors i cant turn on and off, I also cant afford the bigger turbo sets after pickin out the tranny. So the box is logical, And im not ognna buy one thing then want another. Why buy an ez when i know what iw ant later eh?

I run the newer Bluechip adjustable fueling box and I think it performs awesome, i leave it around 50% all the time w/ no problems. i plan on stacking w/ an EZ for the timing though in the future...price was pretty reasonable and Chip @ Blue Chip is a real nice guy. IMO though, now i have to purchase an EZ for the timing versus getting a Edge comp which does both and i would assume this has a lot to do with many going w/ a Comp box in the first place. To answer your question, yes, the box delivers smooth power straight through and comes off the line very well...advertised HP from 0-130 HP depending on how far u twist the little "fun" ****, smoke isn't bad at all unless you really smash the loud pedal....good luck

Sorry about that question -- wasn't intended as a flame. I was in the same position as the original poster ~6 months ago, just making sure that I understood the question.

As far as running the blue chip, I know of two people that have. I think it's because their box came out later than the Comp or the PM3. Also, it supposedly doesn't fuel quite as hard.

I'm all for power stories!!!

On Edit: I forgot to answer the original question. I run a PM3 Comp +EZ right now. The timing of the EZ is something I don't want to live without. The engine sounds smoother and there's much more smooth power lower in the powerband.

For example, with the EZ off, I normally run 13psi up this hill everyday coming home from work. With the EZ stacked, I run the same hill at 7psi & 100 degrees less EGT. To me, this means it's all about timing. I'm just wondering what the drag comp does since it has the fuel and timing in one box.
