Boost "problem"
Well once i got my gauges for my truck.(truck still being stock) I was reading 21psi.Then once i got the smarty i was told the my boost would go up.Well is stayed around 22 psi.I was also told that if i got a box the boost will go up.Well i just put the adrenaline in and well guess what im still at 22 psi.Is this normal or am i on somthin.
P.S. My next door neighbor has same year truck, same everything except the he has a edge juice with attitude and he is gettin 40 some psi..
So any ideas.

you have to mechanically hold the wastegate closed as well as electronically fool the ECM. Auto trucks need a J hook or spring or turnbuckle while manual trucks need a boost elbow.

With the truck being stock, I'm thinking that boost levels over 25psi's on a stock engine and transmission could definetely cause some major problems. Injector's could blow, transmission could break, head studs stretching, head gasket could blow, stock fuel system overworked.
I'm not trying to rain on your parade I just hate to see someone break their prized position and investment.
I plan on pushing more psi's on my truck once I get my "Super B" Kit that will give me a the 40psi's that I'm looking for, but, thats after the transmission and injectors.
Good luck with your rig!
