I loved my smarty jr, and was looking forward to using it on my new truck. I was in a hurry and loaded "default" thinking that it was the stock tune, instead of "Stock" on to my old truck, then sold it. I then tried to hook it up to my new truck and it says "VIN locked". I am told that my smarty is now worthless and I need to buy another. Im really disappointed in that. I thought I might get better customer support from some one.
any thoughts or suggestions?? thanks

 

Better find your old truck and do some smooth talking to the new owner.

 

I would contact MADS directly and tell them what happened.

 

I agree with Spooler...this might be your best option! Did you sell the truck yourself or a trade at a dealer and now you have no info on the new owner?

Yeap, they are a stickler for this issue. Too many crooks in the past makes it trouble for the oops ups of honest folk today.
