Boost gauge

I am wondering whether to get a 0 to 30 or 0 to 60 gauge. I plan on getting some type of computer upgrade like the Edge or something similar?

KC

Re:Boost gauge

Unless your going to do some HEAVY bombing a 0 to 35 will be good enough.

If you were staying stock or maybe just adding 275's ....I'd say the 35psi is good enough. So no HEAVY bombing needed.

Definatly get the 0 to 60psi. You'll want more power later if your starting with the COMP.

Re:Boost gauge

I got the 0-60 boost gauge and I'm glad I did. The WOT boost is about 32 with the Edge EZ and the boos elbow. A 0-30 would have been pegged.

Re:Boost gauge

keep in mind that in order to effectively utilize more than 35 lbs, you'll need a different turbo. if you're committed to keeping an HX35, for example, boost pressures over 35 psi will give you little more than high EGTs and a 0-35 psi gauge will give you greater accuracy than a 0-60 gauge will.

Re:Boost gauge

I use a 0-80 oil pressure gauge that says 'pressure' only on the face.
