Or you can make your own out of your stock elbow. That's what I did. Just drill and tap.

I could have told you how to make one thats more easy to adjust. I built my own for $11 with brass fittings from the local hardware store.

i would also like to know a little more about building one....right now i am stock at the turbo and i do pull good numbers so i have heard...based upon the theory that factory is set to 18psi.....i have hit 23 more than a few times and i guess???? that is good...

one question i have is....wont this put the truck into "limp" mode if to much boost is produced...i have been told that buy many mechanics....i was just about to put on the boost elbow that comes from edge my friend didnt need it and tossed it my way...and before i put it on i thought i should give the guys a call...they said...not to do it...and there reason is that it would just put the trucks computer into limp mode once an over boost is detected...

so how can this be good....will it require a programmer to work properly....or can i build one and not worry....seems to defeat the purpose if you make it so the elbow allows 30 psi and once you go past 22-23 your truck shuts down boost production and puts you into CEL with a code problem.

thanks in advance

You can install a Boost Fooler on the Map sensor. They run $75-80. Or, most boxes/programmers on the market these days have a boost fooler built in.

get three 3/8" NPT nipples, one about an inch long the other 2 as short as possible. Then get a 3/8 NPT needle valve and a hose barb that fits the line size to the waste gate, you'll also need 2 female elbows. heres how to put it together
1. thread the inch long nipple into your turbo.
2. thread on one of the elbows so it points to the passenger side of the truck
3. thread one of the other short nipples into the elbow.
4. Thread the needle valve on to the Nipple.
5. Thread the last nipple into the needle valve.
6. Thread the remaining elbow on the nipple.
7. Last thread the hose barb into the elbow and hook up the waste gate hose. Then open the needle valve all the way. I can upload some pics if you want them.

OK guys here they are. It looks different then the instruction say how to make it, but it should work. the way it is in the picture is minus one elbow & one nipple.

Thanks for the pics that helps.
So if you open the valve all the way you will see more boost close it and will be back to stock is that correct?

I think its the other way around. Just my guess, since you pinch the hose for more boost.
