boost and egt question
Stock, the wastegate dumps around 20psi.
Some see 21, myself I see 19.
Stock turbo can do 35psi before it starts heating the air it's compressing, or overspeeds and implodes.
Some have pushed the stock turbo upwards of 40psi with no ill effects though.
To get the hight boost you need two things, more fuel and something to keep the wastegate from opening at 20psi.
Late model auto tranny trucks can't use the elbow included with most fueling boxes,
we must use hardware to keep the wastegate closed, such as the Turbo-Master or a turnbuckle.

at what psi will my truck defuel with out a fooler and do my egt's sound ok i hauled 3500 lbs today and had to watch the pyro pretty close i am running a minor programer that adds 50 hp but not realy but it was free. thanks
