you should fill in your signature so people know which truck you have. That we knmow which directions to give. Between the 3 generations of Dodge Cummins, installation of gauges is pretty much the same, but there are a few difference.

Boost is easiest to get a boost bolt from most online shops and it replaces one bolt from the top of the head by the injector lines.

Pyro, drill and tap the rear manifold for a pre turbo setup. Lots of worry but it's easy.

fuel press, you can either get a tapped banjo bolt and replace the stocker from the exit side of the filter housing or go directly to the shrader test port on the VP.

Some opinions but use the search for MANY others with pictures.

EGT

boost

Good luck.l

I got my gauges through dieselmanor.com and they came with really good instructions on how to do the install. If you think about what the gauge needs to do, it isn't too hard to figure out generally where it needs to plumb in.

For your 24v, even if you left it stock, the fuel pressure is the most critical gauge. If you modify, then EGT becomes as critical.

Yes you should watch that on this trucks, but what i did before i got around to getting the FP gauge in was at least check the pressure once in a while, you can do that right on the side of the VP with a fuel pressure tester you can get at napa or borrow one from a friend or neighbor.

Numbers will vary but my minimum was 10psi idle and 7 wot, some say down to 5. If your just using a test gauge you will only be able to test idle. I don't care if you floor the peddle you are still not putting load on the engine and your numbers will very severely at WOT. You have plans for a in cab gauge so just keep it up above ~6 WOT and you should be good to go.

good luck.
