BHAF question

I got my BHAF today SWEEEEEET piece, $45 dollars sweet. Now do I just remove the stock air box and attach the filter to the stock air hose and fab up a heat shield form the tech facts page? man it can not be that easy.

It pretty much is. Put a very short piece of 4" pipe inside the BHAF neck to support the rubber. The BHAF was designed to be clamped to a pipe, not to have a hose clamped to it.
