just installed my edge comp, finally. but anyway everything is good but when i did my first run i set off the check engine light do you guys know what this is from? the install was hard i think just because i was doing out side and it was 10 f. but i went trough it today inside and it was a lot easier to get to everything. but it is by far the best thing i bought for my truck so far.

 

Check the codes.
Key on/off/on/off/on and watch/write down what flashes in the odometer.

This seems to be common with these, pull the wires spray em with contact cleaner and maybe a little di-electric grease and it has always solved it for everyone else. As long as your connectors are all in place and you didn't miss any.
