Big honkin air filter. Do a search and you will find many different p#'s for different brands.

Its quite large and totaly replaces the airbox with a cannister type open air filter.

Part numbers are listed in the "tech facts" section of the site.

Anybody have a part # for the sock over the big honk'in air filter?
The one in the picture looks like an outwears product.

Yes, that is an outerwears.

Here's the part number for mine:

WR3325-105BL

WR = Water Resistant BL = Blue

If you give outerwears a call they'll know what you are talking about.
They'll just need the part number of the particular filter you chose and they can tell you your color choices.

I don't notice any performance gains, but it sounds great!

Not really any noticible gains, other than the sound.

It does seal 100% better than the stock airbox, that's a good thing.

It flows better, in turn you get lower egt's and quicker spool-up. HP wise there is not much of a gain. The turbo sounds very nice echoing off the side of the trees or car next to you while driving.

Most people that have seen mine (same as Phox's but red) are quite amazed at how big it is plus it does sound good too.

How about water going through the filter? I dont know how wet it gets in that area while driving in the rain but I wouldnt think that it would be good for water to go through it. so does no water at all go through the sock that you have on your filter phox?

I'm sure if I submerged it, water would go through.

Any road spray that makes it that far supposedly beads up on it.

The one time I've sprayed the engine compartment in an attempt to clean it up some I avoided direct spray just in case, overspray just rolled off it.

I have the fleetguard BHAF (part number AH19037). This is the non-marine type filter. After seeing the picture of the outerwears sock, I had to order one! I went with blue. Thanks for the info and picture!
