Banks High Ram Intake

Will I be wasting my money buying a Banks High Ram Intake. I found one on ebay for $300.00. Want more power, already have a BHAF Filter and I pull a 27ft 5th wheel. Will it make a difference for pulling long distance, I need help in a head wind.

It won't make a difference you can feel.

Might want to consider getting some gauges and an Edge EZ or something similar.

ATS makes a better intake if you want to go that route. The Banks one is poorly designed and ,as far as everything else banks, is overpriced. I would agree with displacedtexan on this one and recommend a fueling box of sorts instead. Way more performance for the money.

Look on the DTR advertisers page. There is a guy making and selling these Swanker, I believe, intake tubes. Spose to be pretty good from what I hear, but dont know for sure if he's selling them yet...

Yup!
Much better off buying a used Edge EZ (25% increase in HP) for your $300.00 .... power you will feel.
Ck in the DTR Classifieds. Here is one...

I like the ATS intake that I bought. However I do not think that it will make a noticeable difference if your truck is completely stock. I feel that the engine runs smoother when shifting with the ATS but I have the Juice and Stage 4 Jammers so I would go with something else until you have added some more fuel.
