Do any of you have a Banks High Ram Intake Manifold. Does it help any? Seem like a lot of money for this item. javahjoeo from Kokomo

 

Try searching for the Banks High Ram. There are a ton of reviews on it. Some think it helps cool temps a bit more, some don't. Unless your pushing serious HP, problably wont' do too much for the money. Use that 250 for injecters or a box.

 

I believe the one that comes with the intercooler kit has a larger inlet to accept the larger intercooler lines, I heard there is one for the OEM intercooler as well but I'm sure it isn't as effective. I'd spend the $$ on the intercooler kit, but not on the high ram for the OEM intercooler.

 

I have one. I have not noticed any benefits from it at all.

 

The biggest benefit that most people get out of it is "LOOKS" I usually don't buy things that promote "form" over "function", but I'm seriously considering buying the Banks intake cause it's wicked cool looking. Even though it probly does nothing for power.

 

I got a used one on Ebay a few months ago for about half of what they normally sell for. It looks cool, but I did not notice any performance changes. I would say buy it if you like the looks of it, but don't expect anything drastic. I'll post some pics of it later tonight

 

Not sure about Banks but ATS is supposed to be pre tapped for guages and injectors.
