you could drill some holes is the top of the box, pre filter side.
Dont know if you will see any dif from it though.

 

If you drill any holes in the air box, drill them in the bottom section. Don't drill into the top section, that will just suck dirt into the intake piping and turbo. You can probably search on here about stock airbox mods, some on here and other sites call it "Swiss Cheesing" the air box.
