Alternate to Tapping Vp44 Wire????

I understand that there is an aftermarket cap for the Vp-44 for tapping the pump wire? Now what I understand is you remove the pump cap, 5 screws, install this cover, it has like a needle on the inside of the cap the punctures the wire on the inside of the pump, so theres no traces of the wire being tampered with. The kit comes complete, even with the special wrench to remove the cap. Does anyone know/heard of this?

Not sure if these products have identical purposes or not.

BD stealth plate / Blue Chip pump cover = same thing.
Yes this prevents you from actually making any marks on the pump wire......BUT....if you were to take a failed pump in for warranty replacement after you put the stock cover back on, most places (from what I've heard) are saavy enough to check under the cover for a puncture hole....albiet very small. The solution I've heard to this hole is to fill it very carefully with some black rtv....it should match the black stuff covering the electronics perfectly if you don't use too much.
Anyway I paid $50 locally for mine, and it works as advertised; easy to install too.
There's a pic of it installed in my gallery.

Nice !...just be easy turning the needle point screw in....you don't want to strip the threads in the cover. You don't need to use any muscle.
Basically, just read the directions
