OK guys, what happens when you tap the wire on a VP44? Currently I am running a Torque Enhancer with the wire tapped. Does this mess with the timing or does it just allow more fuel? the reason I am asking is i'm am wanting to purchase the SMARTY. I'm just not sure what the Torque Enhancer does.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Tapping the wire adds a second injection event. I don't know if your Torque Enhancer is a timing/fuel box or just a fuel box, might want to go to the manufacturers website and see what you can find out.

You can run a Smarty with it either way, as it has both timing and no timing softwares. So if your box is just a fuel box, you can run the odd numbered programs, and if its a timing/fuel box, safer to just stick with the even numbered softwares.
