I'm running one. They have a larger inlet than the standard models and seem to be quite a bit louder than a normal BHAF like I was previously running. My EGTs dropped about 50 degrees at cruising speeds with the race AFE compared to the BHAF also.

I picked one up when I discovered the Proguard 7 that came with my BD Twins costs 13 hp on a 500 hp CTD. Race Filter - 5 layers of filtration. Proguard 7 - 7 layers.
It spools faster, in louder, and did make hp over the Proguard 7!
I have run it on the street now for a little over 1,000 miles and see no debris or residue in my air inlet tube. I'm going to use it only for Dynos & Drag Racing... because of the noise.... but I would be comfortable with it full time if I had nothing else.

OOHH ya!! talk about whistle, it'll make your ears bleed, my 71 sereis 64/14 htt turbo screams, infact its a little annoying, but it flows sooo well that its worth it. when i dynoed i dynoed with the filter on and off, an it honestly didn't make any difference, but thats just my two cents
