Adrenaline ?

Hi I am new to the site and had a question about the quadzilla Adrenaline. I just purchased one and installed it tonight. How do I know If I have a good connection to the pump wire? It feels stronger than with out it but I could not tell that much differance between the levels. I can only get about 35lbs of boost and I run 60hp injectors and a Dodgezilla hybrid turbo. any help would be appreciated.

I hope that you have a fuel system to support that box. I'd bet that you are running out of fuel. The stock lift pumps are junk & can't keep up with the demand of any box that taps the pump wire. What are your fuel pressure readings when this happens?

If pressure falls below 5 psi, you will burn up the vp44 injection pump. That pump costs $1100 & they burn up really fast without fuel flow. It relys on fuel flow to cool it & lubricate it. I don't like to see pressures below 10 psi.

Check the connection on the pump wire. You will know when it is working correctly, lots of power.

With the engine off and the key switch to the ON position, take a test light and probe the tap wire coming off of the Adrenaline (between ur wire tap and the Adrenaline), you should have 12v. If you do have 12v, wiggle the wire tap connector to make sure the light stays lit, just in case you have an intermittent connection.

Quad is working on that, but for now, that's seems to just be one of the quirks the Adrenaline has, just give it some throttle and it'll quit surgin.

Not really. I don't know about ur truck, but mine only does it every once in awhile if the conditions are right (terrrain, speed, etc.) and I just happen to be around that RPM range, usually a tap of the throttle fixes it for the moment. I just learned to drive around it.

How does the Adrenaline compare to the TST power wise?

Well my adrealine has a pretty bad surge at 1600-2000 rpm so I dont know how great it is yet. My tst and Van Aken box really moved the truck along.I guess what I like about this new one it I can controll my EGT's alot better with the limiter on it.The tst got hot real fast on top settings and alot of smoke.I have not noticed alot of smoke from the Adrealine.
