about to get first CTD, need some suggestions

first CTD, need some suggestions

i'm about to get my first cummins ( the one thats listed in my signature), i got a little extra cash to spend and i would like to do some upgrades and i'm looking for some suggestions anything would be helpfull and as far as what i'm looking for i don't tow much, it's gonna be mostly my daily driver anything else just ask, thanks for any help you can give me

Gauges, 3 or 4 gsk, quick spool exhaust manifold,90+hp injectors, timing bump, better turbo like a 62 ,

And while you are tinkering with the KDP, set up the timing to 16° and as the list is above.

wow thanks for the quick response's, first how hard is the KDP? i have looked into that before but never heard much about it, also with that listed above what kind of horsepower and torque numbers am i looking at? and how much am i looking to spend... sorry for all the questions i'm kinda new to the diesel scene

Turbo and that can vary from $800-$1800 depending what you want to run. Injectors can be had used from $300-800 for new.. GSK kits are around $100. Exhaust manifold is an optional item IMHO, but around $500 or more depending on vendor.

Only 2 ways to know for sure--the first is if it fails and screws your truck up, and the second is to tear into it. There is a search feature on this site that will show you step by step with photos how to fix the kdp.

any idea what kind of numbers i could be looking at if i do this set up mentioned just a rough guess would be helpful
