5sp input shaft upgrade, when?
at what HP/TQ level or type of driving should the input shaft be upgraded to 1 3/8"? it is a daily driver with very minimal pulling in respect to weight and frequency.
it cant hurt to do it, but at what level is it justified?

I spoke with Kenny Haisley about this and he recommended upgrading at around 500hp. But it depends on driving style, if you're doing repeated 3rd gear launches with 450hp you should probably upgrade.
